3 in Hong Kong arrested in HK $ 4 million London Gold Trading Scam

The police in Hong Kong have recorded three men in a procedure for a syndicate who cheated at least seven victims of 4 million hk $ ($ 512,820) in a London gold trade Fraud.

The force said on Sunday that the suspects between the ages of 25 and 36 had no experience in the financial sector and rented offices in busy trading quarters to create the appearance of a professional investment company.

The syndicate managed to attract at least seven victims in about a year, with the total losses to be estimated at 4 million HK $.

The police process was triggered on Friday by a member of the public warning authorities to a suspicious investment system.

The complainant reported that he received a call last October if he invited him to join a high -ranking investment opportunity in London's gold trade with a high statement.
