Two seriously injured in the Ottawa County Rollover crash

Jamestown Township, Wed – two people were seriously injured on Saturday evening.

According to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, the crash occurred shortly before 5:50 p.m. on Saturday, May 10th, at the intersection of the Adams Street and the 40th Avenue.

At that time, a 17-year-old Jenison man went north on the 40th Avenue when he did not stop at the intersection with the Adams Street on the stop sign, the MPs said.

His Subaru met a jeep Liberty, who traveled western direction in the Adams Street. The Jeep freedom had the effects rolled several times.

The 31-year-old Mrs. Grand Rapids, who drove the Jeep Liberty and her 67-year-old passenger from Oxford, Connecticut, were seriously injured, the MPs said.

Another passenger in this vehicle, a 37-year-old man from Oxford, was unharmed. The Subaru driver was not injured in the crash.

MPs say that alcohol or drugs are not suspected as factors in the crash. It remains examined.

The sheriff's office was supported by the Ems ambulance of life and the fire brigade of Jamestown Township.
