Dawner's Grove Shooting: The 24 -year -old man who was killed during the argument, says the police, says the police

A 24-year-old man was shot in West Suburban Downers Grove on Saturday evening, the police said.

What we know:

At around 6:51 p.m., the police responded to Prentiss Drive's 2100 Block in order to receive a report on a shootout, according to the police department of Downers Grove.

The investigators learned that two men were in a discussion when several shots were fired.

The 24-year-old victim was injured and brought to the Good Samaritan Hospital in a critical condition. He died later.

The police found that the argument between people who knew each other. There was no threat to the public.

Nobody was in custody on Sunday morning.
