Dustin Haney's music video was shot in Sheridan, Wyoming and Decker, Montana. The video begins with the renowned horse trainer and Munsick's family friend Buck Brannaman, who is lovingly referred to as the “The Horse Whisperer” and interweaves the transferable lessons for transferable life lessons with the process of breaking a horse.

During the entire 3:49, the video conveys the time of time in a relationship and swings between Brannaman and his wife Mary, while she plays Reata and Gabe Clark as the younger version of the couple and ultimately conveyed the resistance of their love.

The music video “Horses Not Hearts” follows the publication of the official music video for “Feather in My Hut Ft. Lainey Wilson” on April 18. Billboard notes of the duet, the Wilson and Munsicks “Sonorous Renderings infuse the song with a soulful charisma”, while the American songwriter welcomes the songs “Heart-Sschwing Language”.

For a good part of 2024, Munsick was traveling with Wilson. As he was on the road, he cooked the deeply personal and tenderly moving “feather in my hat”. Munsick knew that Wilson, if her singing was awarded, would give him another layer of emotional depth. After a show on the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York City, Munsick Wilson asked if she would contribute her singing. The answer was a Velcro.
