After a fiery crash in the northwest of Indiana, two people only managed to escape slightly injuries early Saturday morning.

After a fiery crash in the northwest of Indiana, two people only managed to escape slightly injuries early Saturday morning.

According to the Sheriff's office in Newton County, the crash occurred at the intersection of US 41 and SR 14 in Morocco around 5 a.m.

What we know:

The investigators learned that a Ford F150, who was driven by a 20-year-old man in Illinois, was on the west in SR 14.

A jeep Grand Cherokee driven by a 66-year-old man in Indiana driven south on the USA. The driver of the Ford did not allow the right of way, and the cars collided in the US lanes 41, the police said.

The jeep caught fire due to the crash and the two occupants could climb out of the car. They were brought to a regional hospital with such minor injuries.

The Ford driver rejected medical treatment on site.

What we don't know:

The police did not say whether charges were submitted.
