The football legend Lionel Messi scored Inter Miami's only goal when Minnesota United scored a 4-1 win on the Allianz Field in St. Paul.

Minnesotas Bongokuhle Hlongwane, Anthony Markanich and Robin Lod scored goals during the game, and Tani Oluwaseyi led a header on the goal when Miami defender Marcelo Weigandt put the ball back into the network of his team.

Hlongwane and Lod both scored their first goal of the season, while Julian Gressel gave his home game debut as a replacement.
