Monitoring video catches Hancock Park Burglary in Los Angeles, California, while homeowners and children slept

Los Angeles – Neighbors in a quarter in Los Angeles are nervous after a further break -in. The latest the latest happened when the homeowner and his children slept.

Inhabitants of Hancock Park tell our sister station, ABC7 Eyewitness News in Los Angeles, they have the feeling that their neighborhood is attacked by burglars. A man caught thieves who entered his property on his ring monitoring camera.

The video shows the brave criminals – a trio that carries hoodies, masks and gloves – on the property. Another camera hinge shows one of the burglars who hike at the back yard pool.

Eric, the homeowner, said he went to bed when he was scared of noise.

“I heard a series of blows and then a blow and immediately recognized it as a sound that I was not familiar with … Dialed 911,” said Eric.

When Eric checked the strange sound, he said that he got the surprise of his life when he saw one of the crooks who went up the stairs near the bedroom of his children.

“I just said, 'Hey! Hey! Go out! Go out. The police are on the way,” recalled Eric. “He stopped, paused and then turned and went down the stairs.”

The Los Angeles police said the break -in at the beginning of this month, shortly after 10 p.m. in the Sycamore Avenue in Hancock Park.

Neighbors say that several houses have recently been collapsed in the past two months – almost a dozen incidents.

Eric said the burglars in his case escaped empty -handed, but they took his feeling of security.

“I was afraid, but what was most terrible was the fact that this stranger could – who could be armed, I had no idea – my children closer than me, and this feeling was really difficult to forget,” said Eric.

Eric has updated his alarm system since the break -in. He tells his story because he hopes that she will remind the neighbors to connect and pay attention to each other.

The burglars that broke into his house remain at large.
