Rupert you die in the accident with two vehicles near Minidoka

Minidoka, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT)-A Rupert-man is dead after a two-vehicle accident west of Minidoka crashed on Saturday afternoon.

According to Idaho State Police, a 74-year-old man from Rupert drove in a pickup pickup at 2:55 p.m. in East 900 North. The man could not give in at a stop sign at the intersection with North 400 East and was hit south by a compact car that was driven by a 51-year-old Rupert man.

The Pickup truck rested on the side in a nearby drainage ditch, and the compact car rested on the shoulder.

The 74-year-old did not wore a seat belt and died of his injuries according to the ISP after being in a hospital for a lifetime. The 51-year-old wore his seat belt and a soil car took him to a hospital.

The Idaho police said that the crash would continue to be examined.
