Joe Mazzulla announces injuries to Celtics-Knicks Game 4

The Boston Celtics have dealt with various injuries and symptoms since the beginning of the NBA playoffs from 2025. Jaylen Brown entered the playoffs with a knee injury. Jayson Tatum wave the wrist and prompted him to miss game 2 of her first round. Kristapaps Porzingis has to deal with an illness that disturbed him in March.

Another player who is currently dealing with an injury is Sam Hauser, who in game 1 of the Celtics series against the New York Knicks was waving. Hauser did not appear in games 2 or 3, and there were no reports in which he stated whether it fits for game 4.

While he spoke to reporters on Sunday, Mazzulla announced where Hauser is with his recovery.

“He comes there,” said Mazzulla, according to Clns Media Noa Dalzell. “He gets better. He is every day and gets better every day, so he just has to continue this process. He is a little better today than yesterday, and he just has to continue working to get there.”
