President Donald Trump is preparing to accept a luxury jet from the royal family of Qatar, which he will use as Air Force One, four sources that have been confirmed with the planning that have been confirmed.

The plane, a Boeing 747-8 Jet, is to be transferred to NBC at the end of its second concept of the White House in Trump's presidential Library Foundation.

The administration will retrofit the aircraft so that it can be used as president in Trump's official capacity.

The White House and the Ministry of Justice did not immediately respond to CNBC's request for a comment.

ABC News reported the plans for the first time.

Reports about the move come when Trump will travel to the Middle East this week, including a stopover in Qatar, for the first foreign journey of his second term.

Trump dropped a deal during his first term to modernize two Boeing 747 to be used as New Air Force One aircraft. However, the fixed price contract with Boeing is due to repeated delays more than $ 2 billion via the budget. The aircraft may only be completed at least 2027.

Trump expressed frustration over the Boeing delays this year and said he weighed alternatives.

“We can buy an airplane or get an airplane or something,” he said in February, according to a Reuters report at this time, while touring a Katari 747 at Palm Beach International Airport in Florida.

Kelly Ortberg, CEO von Boeing, said in January that the company works with Doge Lead and Key Trump Ally Elon Musk to deliver the planes earlier.

At the beginning of this month, CNBC reported that the USA had worked with L3Harris technologies to change a used Katari Boeing 747 so that it may become a new US presidential aircraft.

NBC messages have contributed to the reporting.
