Alcohol, which is involved in the I -90 crash -ABC 6 News

(ABC 6 News) four people were injured in a frontal collision on the I-90 on Saturday.

According to Minnesota State Patrol, it happened in Freeborn County around 3:17 p.m.

The crash report says that a Chevrolet Equinox drove west from 2019 on the I-90, while a 2023 Toyota Tundra drove east when the two vehicles collided head-on.

According to MSP, the driver of the Chevrolet Equinox, 36-year-old Nyaroup Jal by Albert Lea, used alcohol.

Jal did not receive life -threatening injuries due to the crash, but was not brought to a health facility.

The three occupants of the Toyota received all non -life -threatening injuries.

The 55-year-old Christine Bennett and 63-year-old Stanley Bennett from Mountain Lake were both brought to Mayo Clinic Health System Albert Lea, while 20-year-old John Bennett was brought to Saint Mary's Hospital.

Albert Lea Police Department, Sheriff's Office of Freeborn County, the fire brigade of Clarks Grove, the fire brigade of Albert Lea, Mayo Ambulance and Mayo Air are all assisted MSP at the crime scene.
