Tyler Glasnow and Blake Snell trend in different directions

The Los Angeles Dodgers took an aggressive step in the off-season to strengthen their starting trotation by signing Blake Snell over $ 182 million for a five-year contract.

Snell was one of the top start jugs that were available in the Free Agency before the start of the 2025 season, and the Dodgers quickly acted to get out of a market where several teams were looking for help.

But that still has to pay off when Snell only made two starts before she went to the 15-day injured list due to the inflammation of the left shoulder. Snell was supposed to resume Tyler Glasnow on Friday, but the left -hander was pushed back to Sunday.

Glasnow did it, but Snell didn't do it because, according to Jack Harris, he has shoulder difficulties from La Times:

Next will meet for Glasnow and Snell on Monday with Dr. Neal Elattrache. The visit was planned for both pitchers before the latest developments.

Nevertheless, this is now a second time that Snell's expected wurdling progress has stalled. He was closed briefly when he was put on the injured list, but was able to resume playing the game relatively quickly. Snell went to a Bullpen meeting, but had to skip a second one because of the discomfort of the left shoulder.

This led to a further examination by Snell and he received an injection for the treatment of pain.

Blake Snell Mris

After the Dodgers Snell had put on the injured list, manager Dave Roberts said that an MRI of his left shoulder was the “best-case scenario” because it did not reveal any structural damage.

Roberts then said a second MRI after Snell encouraged his Bullpen meeting because his shoulders remained structurally closed.

“In view of the knowledge of the MRI, I think that we have dilated a ball,” said Robert's last month.
