Astros Pitcher Lance McCullers Jr. Slam's death threats made against family members

The Houston Astros dropped a game in the Cincinnati Reds on Saturday, 12-9. It was a bad representation for the starting jug of Lance McCullers Jr. when he gave up seven runs in 0.1 Innerings of work.

McCullers Jr. unveiled after the game that he and his family had received death threats. The Astros star called out those who threatened his family members.

“It was a hard evening,” said McCullers. “I understand that people are very passionate and love people who love Astros and love sports, but threatens to find my children and murder them, is a bit difficult to deal with it.”

Astros manager Joe Espada published an explanation on this matter. The manager opened his press conference after the game by discussing the ongoing situation.

“I just left my office, and it is very unfortunate that there are people who threaten his life and life of his children because of his performance,” said Espada, who slammed the podium with anger at one point.

“It is very regrettable that we have to deal with it. After all, he has the fact that we have to talk about it in my office for this city, this team.

Major League's baseball had said that they were aware of the situation and take care of it. The league communicates directly with the Astros on this topic.

McCullers Jr. had just returned to Astros -Pitching staff after a very long absence due to a flexor tendon operation. The right -hander had a few setbacks on the way, and the team was very happy that he returned to the hill.

Through his two appearances this year, McCullers Jr. published an era of 15.75 over four innerings of work. The right -handed man excluded the Chicago White Sox in its first start last week over 3.2 innings.

Too often we see some fans who bring things well over the line, and this is one of these cases. Sport can have a certain influence on people, but this is never acceptable.

Hopefully the death threats and McCullers Jr. can feel sure that he takes the hill back in.
