Gabriel Martinelli and Mikel Merino scored goals in the second half when we fought our way back from 2-0 to claim a point in Liverpool.

After a bright start, we were shaken by two goals from Liverpool within just as many minutes, which gave us a mountain to climb in the second half. Martinelli went back after the interval and Merino was on site to achieve the equalization after Alisson kept Martin Odegaards Rasping drive out.

Merino saw Red Red for a second bookable offense with ten minutes, but we held up with ten men to earn a point.
