Margate begins to prepare for the annual night against crime

Margate is preparing for his 23rd night against crimes, which will take place on August 5, 2025 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the sports complex.

During the meeting on May 7, the Commission approved a decision to support the event and to enable the Law Enforcement Trust Fund account for 70,000 US dollars.

The Margate Police Department in cooperation with the city will celebrate Night And invite all city administrators, residents and families for the event in the sports complex, 1695 Banks Road.

The community building event is located in the planning phase and includes free activities and refreshments for the whole family.

“We will promote safe activities in the neighborhood and the neighborhood clock and would like to provide some information and giveaways for crime prevention in order to raise awareness of the participants,” said police chief Michael Palma on his request. This family -friendly, free event is a good way to build a relationship between law enforcement authorities and the community.

The youngest Margate Night Outs were big events. In addition to the presentations of the city police, representatives of the office of the Broward Sheriff, the US military and the law enforcement authorities of the US state have participated.
