No charges for the officer who shot, the unarmed man was killed in Glendale

Glendale, AZ (Azfamily) – The officer, who is responsible for shooting and killing a man in a Glendale Park in January, is exposed to shooting and killing in a Glendal Park without indictment.

On April 16, the public prosecutor's office of Maricopa County (MCAO) from the Peoria police authority announced that they would not file an indictment against the official. After checking the case, MCAO came to the conclusion that there is no reasonable chance of condemning the official.

Peoria PD derived the investigation of how it is typical for another police authority to examine the shootings affected by the officials.

The shootout occurred on January 8 at around 7 p.m. in Horizon Park. The officials said they had kept the victim with an armed suspect from a domestic violence in the area of ​​the 47th Avenue and the Glendal Avenue.

The victim, who was later identified as a 46-year-old Dillon Siebeck from Tucson, died at the scene. No weapons were found on Siebeck or in the park, the police said.

Glendale PD said that the official involved would remain in administrative tasks until the end of their internal examination. The department said they adhere to a high standard that contains strictly according to guidelines and procedures. Depending on the results of the internal investigation, the civil servant could be exposed to disciplinary measures from the city, including discharge.
