Two dead after crash in El Paso County north of Peyton

El Paso County, Colorado (KKTV) – two people are dead after a crash north of Peyton, according to Colorado State Patrol.

They said they reacted to the intersection of Elbert Road and Murphy Place shortly after 1 p.m. on Sunday when they received the report on the crash. When they arrived there, they said they found a RAM 3500 and Chevrolet Suburban was collided near the intersection.

Soldiers said the ram driver remained on site while his passenger was taken to the hospital.

According to the soldiers, two people who were in the Chevrolet died and a third was flown to the hospital.

State Patrol said that they were planning to block this intersection over a longer period of time while examining them.
