Colorado State Patrol reacts to a fatal crash near Peyton on Sunday

El Paso County, co. (Koaa) – Colorado State Patrol (CSP) reacted to a fatal crash in El Paso County on Sunday afternoon.

According to CSP, the crash in Elbert Road and Murphy Place near Peyton occurred at around 1:00 p.m.

State Patrol says that the first reports say that a RAM 3500 and a Chevy suburb of the intersection collided.

The ram's passenger was taken to the hospital, but the driver stayed at the scene of the accident.

One person in the suburb was flown to a hospital, but two of the inmates died on site.

The cars block the intersection and both streets are blocked for examination. There is no timeline for the reopening of the street.
