Calhoun County, Al – The Calhoun County Commission held its regular monthly session with a strong focus on support and commitment in the community on Thursday, May 8, 2025. The meeting was emphasized in two important review presentations, which reflects the district's commitment to the public service and the historical preservation.

The first presentation honored the Alabama Law Enforcement Appreciation Foundation (Aleaf) as part of the Law Enforcement Week. The Commission presented Ameaf a check to support their ongoing work in recognizing and raising law enforcement officers in the entire region. The funds will contribute to meals and recognition events for civil servants in Calhoun County.
