Alfredo Ahilon-Mendoza | Durham man met killed when he went on the 15th-501 North exchange and Martin Luther King Jr. BLVD

Durham, NC (WTVD) – A 41-year-old man was hit and killed on Saturday evening when he went near the 15-501 exchange, the police said.

The Durham police said the incident occurred

The police said a preliminary investigation showed that a white 2020 GMC Acadia by Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. At 15-501 North when Alfredo Ahilon-Mendoza from Durham met, who went in a travel trail.

Ahilon-Mendoza was taken to the hospital, where he was later declared dead.

The authorities said that neither speed nor impairment seemed to be a factor in the crash.

No fees were submitted at this point.
