Older man killed

An older man in the league city was arrested after he allegedly hit and killed someone with his car after a dispute.

The 78 -year -old Ted Cassell was charged with murder.

Shortly before 5 p.m. on May 10, officials in the league city became aware of a pedestrian who was hit by a car. When they arrived at the scene, they initiated life-saving measures for a 72-year-old man who had been hit by a truck.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was later declared dead for injuries in the incident.

Cassell stayed with his white Ford F-1550 pickup at the scene. Witnesses said that Cassell was in a verbal argument with several people, including the victim.

Cassell was later custody that night. It is recorded in a bond of 250,000 US dollars.
