Turkey beats windshield, drivers suffer injuries in the crash – brainerd shipping

Aitkin – A Ford Explorer from 2017 drove east on Friday, May 9th, on the Highway 18 in Aitkin County, when a turkey picked up in contact with the windshield of the vehicle, whereby the vehicle stuck off the motorway and rolled into the south moat.

The crash, which injured the driver, was reported at 2:04 p.m. on Highway in 360th Avenue in Wealthwood Township.

The Minnesota State Patrol reported that the road was dry at that time. The state patrol explained that the driver Jennifer R. Geren, 48, Wealthwood, had not suffered life -threatening injuries and was brought to the Riverwood Healthcare Center Hospital in Aitkin. Geren wore a seat belt.

The Sheriff's office by Aitkin County and North Memorial Health Ambulance assisted at the scene.
