Flood clock output for parts of the mountains, while the rain moves in

Asheville, NC (WLOS) – Monday is a weather day before widespread heavy rain that could create floods and heavy thunderstorms throughout the region.

An area with low pressure moves from the Golf, northeastern via WNC and the landfill.

The National Weather Service published a flood guard for the Foothills, Northern Mountains, Henderson, Transylvania and Southern Jackson until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at 8 a.m. The flood clock can be expanded if heavy rain moves to the area.

The rain experience will rise later on Sunday evening, with the rainy waves being likely to be all day long all day long. In addition, there is a marginal risk (level 1 of 5) for some heavy thunderstorms. Damaged wind, hail and even an isolated tornado are possible.
