After a rather uneventful weather weekend in the southwest of Florida, Monday (May 12th) will be a completely different story for some places.

In fact, the National Weather Service in Miami, which covers Collier County, published a tidal station for Coastal Collier County and Domestyle Collier County after Monday morning.

The expected “rain event” is actually welcome here, where there were serious drought in 2025. The flood guard is in force from Monday morning to Tuesday (May 13th).
