Red Sox defeated Royals 3-1 [VIDEO]

The Boston Red Sox defeated the Kansas City Royals 3-1 on Sunday afternoon when Lucas Giolito achieved his first victory in 2023.

Giolito went 6.2 Innerings, only allowed 2 goals and 1 run, hit 5 and woke up 1-1-1 in the season.

Justin Wilson accumulated 1.0 Inning, excluded 2 and allowed 1 goal. Greg Weissert withdrew the lonely dough with which he was exposed. Aroldis Chapman recorded his 6th Save of the season and only allowed one goal.

Wilyer Abreu met his 10th Homerun, a solo shot in the 4th Inning, which ended 3: 4. Rafael Devers was 2-3 with a Homerun, his 7th of the season, a 2-run shot in the 6th Inning.

Carlos Navaraez had a double

Nick Sogard started for the 2nd game in a row in the 1st basis and was 0-4.

Trevor Story and Jarren Duran each had a single.
