Pacers vs. Bucks Score, schedule, NBA Playoff -updates, opportunities: Indiana closes the series with comeback OT victory

For the second time in a row, the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks met in the first round of the NBA playoffs.

The Pacers used their home advantage and took the first two games in the series in Indianapolis. The Bucks reacted at home on Friday and won game 3 with a score of 117-101. The Bucks had the chance to bind the series in game 4 on Monday, but the Pacers prevailed 129-103 when Milwaukee Damian Lillard lost to a torn Achilles. Back in Indianapolis, the Pacers then completed the series and eliminated the goats in game 5 with a wild com-from-heart-behavior 119-118 victory in extra time.

The Pacers, who switched off the goats last year, entered the series as a higher seed and the favorite this year against their rivals of the central division. Indiana shook a slow start to end 50-32 and earn the number 4 of the East this season. Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks have been after their first series victory since 2022, but this drought continues. Antetokounmpo missed the playoff series against Indiana last year, but another Milwaukee star was injured in 2025. Damian Lillard missed the first game in the series, achieved an urgently needed return for Games 2 and 4 and then suffered another injury in game 4.

The Pacers, who made the Eastern Conference final a season ago, are listed by Tyrese Haliburton and Pascal Siakam. Siakam (20.2 points per game) was an all-star in 2025, while Haliburton got better during the season. After the All-Star break, he scored 20.6 points and 11 templates per game.
