Man plows trucks in juvenile penalty in Johnson County

Johnson County – According to the Sheriff office of the Johnson County, a man looks like several criminal complaints from several criminal charges after driving his truck to a youth liability center.

Officials call it a “horrific and deliberate act of violence”.

The 39-year-old Jacob Dhondt drove his truck through the front Vestibül at 11:40 a.m. on Sunday and the entrance to Johnson County's juvenile detention center.

The words “Fathers Matter” were written on the back of the truck of Dhondt when he tore the secure entrance to the building.

Officials say that nobody was injured in the incident.

“This was not just a vandalism. This was a targeted, deliberate action that life – people simply their work – put their work in danger,” said the sheriff Duane Burgess, Sheriff Duane Burgess, in a press release. “It is very happy that nobody was killed or injured.”

The law enforcement authorities immediately arrested Dhondt.

Dhondt said that he was angry with Johnson County's court system and claimed that he had not had a sensation of his son for over a year, according to officials. He reported that he told the officials that this should “send a message to the judges and the judicial system”.

Dhondt is now exposed to several criminal charges, including:

  • Investigation, level 5 crimes
  • Criminal police, level 6 crimes
  • Crime mixture, level 6 crimes

According to officials, Dhondt also has an active arrest warrant at level 2 from Shelby County because of the trade in methamphetamine.
The Johnson County Juvenile Haftzentrum is a safe facility that works around the clock.

The Johnson County's office said that this law underlines the real risks with which public servants work in judicial and imprisoned environments.

“We will not tolerate attacks against our employees or our judicial system,” said Sheriff Burgess in the press release. “This was a intimidation act, simple and simple, and we will pursue justice with the full weight of the law.”
