NHL Playoffs 2025: Stanley Cup time plan, clip, scores, scores, as Panthers even series against Maple Leafs

The Dallas Stars have a 2-1 lead on the Winnipeg Jets after having achieved game 3 on Sunday with a decisive 5: 2 point number. While the stars rolled, the Florida Panthers stopped 2-2 for a 2-0 win against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

For the stars it was their first home game of the series and they looked very comfortable in their own barn. The teams entered the third period 2-2, but then Dallas retired with three straight goals. There were some controversy about Alex Petrovic's gaming goal after he seemed to kick it, but the gate stood after a long review.

Mikko Rantane steel in Dallas again in the spotlight and scored a goal and two templates. He now has 17 points in his last six games, and it is no surprise that that is Rantene landed under our 3 stars of the night.

In the second game of the day, the Panthers suppressed the Maple Leafs for a 2-0 victory in game 4. Sergei Bobrovsky was great and stopped all 22 shots with which he was confronted. After Bobrovsky was dealt with in game 3 with a little bad luck, he recovered pretty well with a shutout performance against a powerful criminal offense.

Carter Veraeghe and Sam Bennett had the goals for Florida, and the series will return to Toronto for game 5. Will the home team win a fifth game in a row, or can the Panthers break this trend and achieve a third victory in a row? We will find out on Wednesday.

In the meantime, fans will be treated with a few game 4 on Monday. The Carolina Hurricanes can bring the Washington Capitals to the edge of the elimination, and the Edmonton Oilers can do the same for the Vegas Golden Knights.
