Watch: Thunderstorm Artis divides his love story with an original song about 'American Idol'.

When some candidates had the chance to fulfill the Mother's Day on “American Idol”, they honor the mothers in their life with songs of legends such as Bob Dylan and Sam Cooke. However, thunderstorm art wanted to express his love and gratitude in his own words.

During the episode on Sunday evening, the Hawaiian singer played an original song entitled “Out Out the Blue”, in which “Idol” offered two chances to impress the spectators: First, during a round of Disney song, and again when the singers shared a mother's day tribute.

Artis explained that he wrote “out of the blue” about his wife Faith, with whom he shares two children.

“When I met the faith, I didn't look for love, she came into my life out of the blue ',” he said with a grin.

“Whatever it looks for her to follow this dream, I'm 100 percent with me, I will do everything it needs,” added Artis' woman during an interview before the show.

The uplifting original song, which warm lines such as “When it is dark, they are the sunshine that breaks through”, Ryges Richie, Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan opened up.

“It is clear to me that if you write these texts and write these melodies, you have what we” call “a career,” said Richie.

“If you are the artist who put together these two, the sky is the border for you, my friend,” he added.

Underwood also praised art art by Artis and recognized the risk of listing an original song in the competition.

“You brought us some really amazing songs with us throughout your time,” she said, “and there is nothing you have to worry about, because of course it will be great because you are.”

Similar to the last few weeks, “Idol” fans subsequently chose on Sunday evening to determine which five candidates would progress and which two “idol” dopulations would go home. The end of the episode showed that Mattie Pruitt and Gabby Samone left the competition.

Artis will reappear in another Disney round of the competition on Monday evening, in which he and the other four candidates will perform songs from their favorite heroes and villains. The following and last episode of season 23 is planned for next Sunday, May 18.
