Dallas Stars scores without Mikko Rantannen, who gets a point and ends record strips with 13 goals in a row

Dallas (AP) -Mikko Rantannens NHL-Playoffs record series on consecutive goals, which were involved in 13 for the Dallas Stars. He had extended himself on Sunday before scored another goal when he was on the ice but received no point.

Everything that stranted afterwards was a goal and another assist when the stars defeated the top seed-Winnipeg Jets 5-2 to take the lead in the second Western Conference series. He now has nine goals – all in the last six games – and nine templates in this off -season.

“It is the best performance that I have to testify and stand where I am in my team for this long time,” said Stars coach Pete Deboer. “But for me he just starts. He only warms up here. I think he's on a mission.”

Rantannen had the main assistant for a Power Play goal from Roope Hintz only 2:27 in game 3. When Dallas scored a goal again in the first period for a 2-1 lead, Rantannen for Defenseman Thomas Harley's goal was on the ice. But the templates went to Mikael Granlund and Sam Steel.

“I'm trying to stay at the moment,” said Rantannen when he was asked if he had the chance to even think about his impressive series of evaluation. “I am happy to help the team and try to do as much as possible, both ends of the ice.

Rantannen had the main assistant for the controversial gate at 16:09 when his shot bounced goalkeeper Connor Hellebuyck and then returned to the net of the stern defender Alexander Petrovics Skate and a 3-2 lead.

Before confirming this balance sheet, there was more a five -minute video check, and then 49 seconds after the resumption of rantons with 4: 2.

“It is a big pick -up at the time,” said Petrovic about rantons, who was traded twice in six weeks, first from Colorado to Carolina and then from Dallas. “He was great for us. He is a great guy in the room. He was in the tear, so it really helps.”

Rantanan's record series included plays in a row when he had four points in the first round against his former team, the Avalanche. He was the first player to ever do this in the playoffs or in the regular season.

Rantannen began his goal runner with a reference to a hint of 6: 2 in game 5 against Colorado. Rantene and Hintz both had four goals that the stars scored in the second period with a 7: 4 defeat against the avalanche in game 6, before Rantannen as part of a further four-point period had a hat trick in the third time when Dallas in game 7 with a 4-2 victory.

In the second season of game 1, he added a natural hat trick against the jets to open this series with a 3-2 victory, and was only the third person in NHL history to achieve hat tricks in successive playoff games.

Dallas lost 4-0 against the jets in game 2.
