Denver Native Mark Hubbard achieves rare personal back-to-back top-10 numbers on PGA Tour

Mark Hubbard achieved something on Sunday. He had only done once in his golf career.

With a seventh place in the Oneflight Myrtle Beach Classic in South Carolina, the native Denver published the top 10 on the PGA tour for the second time in 246 starts on Golf's top racetrack.

The graduate of the Colorado Academy took fifth place in Texas in Texas last Sunday in the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. His only earlier PGA Tour Top-10 in consecutive weeks came in July 2022 when he took third place at the Barbasol Championship and fourth place in the Barracuda championship. (For the record, Hubbard took another set of consecutive top 10 numbers on the PGA tour.

At his last three PGA tour events without a team, Hubbard certainly jumped “forward”, the 12th place, fifth and seventh place.

In Myrtle Beach, Hubbard achieved a number of 68-71-67-66 for a 12-under-saving overall amount, which left him three strokes behind Champion Ryan Fox. In the last two rounds, Hubbard card cited a dozen birdies and three bogeys.

Hubbard rose to 88th place in the season-loving FedExcup ranking.
