The scandal of 'White Pulver' breaks out after the video by Emmanuel Macron, the object from the table next to Keir Starrer removed

A video by the French President Emmanuel Macron, the British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starrer and the German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has triggered a fire storm in social media with wild allegations that it showed the trio with “white powder”.

The video he had recorded, while Mr. Macron, Sir Starrer and Mr. Merz were on a train after the conversations in Ukraine, shows that the French president reaches for a white object on the table while the media entered the car.

The white object is quickly removed from the table and in Mr. Macron's right hand hidden out of sight before it moves it subtly to his left hand, which he then holds under the table.

The video also shows another small straight object on the table that is moved under a Manila folder.

Although there was no evidence, social media gave rise to theories in which we speculated that the objects were illegal drugs and drug utensils out of sight.

The evening does not implied misconduct or the presence of illegal substances.

Dr. Simon Goddek posted a video by the guide on X, in which he wrote: “Macron, Starrer and Merz took video when they returned from Kiev.”

“A bag of white powder on the table. Macron quickly puts it, Merz hides the spoon,” he said.

French media described the online speculation of “conspiracy theories” and quickly tried to make the data set clear.

“High-quality photos and videos, such as the AFP or AP agencies recorded by the AFP or AP messages, show that the mysterious bag with white powder is actually a handkerchief that was placed on the table in a ball,” wrote Libération online.

“These conspiracy accusations fit the narrative that western elites are spoiled and unconsciously approach the war.”

As for the direct object that some online users speculated, reports indicate that it could have been a tooth selection or a drink driver.

Despite the clarification of the French publication on the object and the pictures that show a tissue, many online seem to enjoy speculation.
