Motorcyclist dies during the crash, which caused on the I-880 near Oakland Coliseum Backups

A motorcyclist died in an accident in which the traffic on Sunday evening on Interstate 880 came again near the Oakland Coliseum, the California Highway Patrol said.

The officials received reports on a crash at 4:40 p.m., in which a motorcyclist and a vehicle on the I-880 towards the south were involved near the Hegenberger Road.

The CHP said the motorcyclist died at the scene.

The two right lanes of the motorway were blocked for a few hours. The traffic could be seen how it was used on the 66th Avenue exit.

It is not known whether Dui was a factor because the crash continues to be examined.
