A UI 8 Beta -Start -Timeline has been leaked and it comes earlier than you would think

A UI 8 Beta start time strip has been leaked and it seems that Samsung is trying to catch up with other brands this time after it was severely delayed with the One UI 7 start. The One UI 8 functions have already been leaked, which indicates that they may not have larger UI changes, but some new functions.

According to a Sammobile report, a UI 8 beta should begin later this month, which would previously expect from Samsung for his next UI version. “We can only confirm that the One UI 8 Beta program will start later this month,” says the report. A report from the beginning of April of this year indicated that the upcoming folding blocks of the brand, including the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Flip 7, are carried out from the box on a UI 8.

In view of the start of Samsung in July in the past two years, we can expect the introduction of UI 8 Beta start to be carried out throughout June during this month (in the third week of May) and officially debut in July when the new Z-Series Foldables will start. The publication also states that the beta will be available for selected few devices and in selected markets. We expect Samsung to first use it for devices of the Galaxy S25 series when you consider that they are the latest flagships of the S series.

The report adds that at some point we could see a wider rollout in June. After earlier Lecks, Samsung is planning a UI revision with a UI 8 based on Android 16. According to reports, Samsung has also polished and improved several general UI elements in the latest UI 8 firmware, including a slim, glass-like background blank effect in popup menus.

A few new Galaxy KI functions could also be added in a UI 8. We will know more that Samsung will probably be the update later this month.
