After the death of his father, Michael Sheen left 'broken heart'

Michael Sheen was “broken heart” after the death of his father.

The 56-year-old actor paid tribute to his “beautiful” father Meyrick on Sunday evening (May 11th, 200) on the social media platform X and insisted that “never to someone like him” would be after his death at the age of 85.

Michael wrote a portrait of Meyrick, which was created by the artist Roo Lewis: “In the name of my family, I mark the death of my beautiful father Meyrick Sheen today with heartbreaking sadness.

“We were consistently with him. There will never be someone like him.

“Rip Meyrick Sheen (1940-2025).”

Michael has not revealed Meyrick's cause of death.

In a separate contribution on the social media platform, the star “Good Omens” thanked the employees of the Sŵn -Y -Y -M -Môr Care Center in Port Talbot as well as Morriston in Swansea and Neath Port Talbot Hospitals -all in Wales -for their kindness.

Michael said: “Many thanks to the amazing employees of Sŵn-Y-Môr Care Home and Morriston and NPT Hospitals. Your friendliness made the difference.

“The beautiful portrait comes from Roo Lewis. He loved it and we too.”

After Michael received several condolences from fans, he said in a third post on X: “Many thanks to everyone for their friendly news from me and my family.”

Meyrick was a HR manager of the British Steel Corporation.

And Michael always respected his father's “commitment” for his work as Jack Nicholson (88), which passed over three decades.

In an interview with ITV1S “This Morning” in 2019, the actor said about Meyrick, who issued Jack at events that he did not want to visit: “A very long time ago, when I was in the late 80s and early 90s in the drama, people came to my father and said just like Jack Nicholson. “It was about the time when the first” Batman “films came out, the Tim Burton films in which Jack Nicholson played the Joker.

“It finally led him to get an agent and work all over the world as Jack Nicholson -Lookalike … My father always said: 'Even better than the real thing!' I have always said that what my father lacks in specificity is in commitment, so I think that I investigated him in this regard.

“As soon as he was invited to Germany for a premiere by Jack Nicholson. When he arrived there, they said: 'Jack should be here, but he won't be that you will be jack.' He had to carry out radio interviews!
