How does the NBA design of the lottery work?

Before the NBA lottery is transferred on television, the actual lottery will take place in a separate room.

If a team appears more than once, the result is rejected and another combination with four balls is selected. If a united combination is drawn, the result is also rejected and the balls are drawn again.

After the first four picks have been determined, the selection five to 14 are set in the inverse order of their records from 2024-25.
