NBA playoffs: Mathurin, who was hit after the fist closed when Pacers Cavs for Brink | NBA

The Indiana Pacers Guard Bennedict Mathurin was ejected in the first quarter of game 4 on Sunday because he had hit the De'andre Hunter in Cleveland Cavaliers with a closed fist.

Even without one of their top goal scorers, the Pacers tied an NBA playoff record by taking over a 41-point half-time lead and the Cavaliers 129-109 was in order to take over a 3-1 lead in this semi-final series of the Eastern Conference. After Donovan Mitchell missed the second half because of an injured left ankle, the Cavs had no chance of recovering.

Repetitions showed that Mathurin stretched his fist into Hunter, who reacted by wagging his finger over Mathurin and followed him in the direction of Midcourt, where he pushed Mathurin onto the floor with two hands. Pacers Center Myles Turner then pushed across the square and ran on Hunter.

After a repeat assessment, the referee Mathurin called for a flagrant 2, an automatic expectoration that drew a choir from Boos from Pacers fans. Turner and Hunter were given technical fouls.

“I had a lot of questions,” said Pacers coach Rick Carlisle. “I still saw one shot in which he looked that he had his hand flat, do you know? But they many different views. Whatever happened. He will accept the ejection and whatever else happens. We just have to go forward.”

The Pacers can close the series and achieve their second time in Cleveland in Cleveland in the conference final, where they won the first two games.

Mathurin did not achieve on the pitch in his 80 seconds. Hunter, who missed the game 2 with an injured wrist, had five points and four rebounds, while Turner made all four of his three -point attempts and ended with 20 points, seven rebounds and three assists.

Mathurin was also involved in a dispute with Giannis Antetocounmpo when the Pacers eliminated the goats in the first round of the playoffs.

In the other game on Sunday, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 25 points and the Oklahoma City Thunder finally exceeded Denver in the crunch time and beat the Nuggets 92-87 to bind her second round in two games each.

The thunder hit 69: 63 after three quarters and fell back at eight when Peyton Watson started the fourth quarter by swinging a hook shot. But Oklahoma City used an 11-0 run of reserves Cason Wallace, which had a few three-point pointers, and Aaron Wiggins, who added another to take control. Wallace's second three pointer in Oklahoma City put 75-73 in the lead.

The Nuggets had overtaken the youngest team in the NBA with victories in games 1 and 3 and credited their playoff experience and their family tree of the championship. And they seemed ready to get the top team out of elimination when Aaron Gordon's turnaround jumper reached 73-66. This time, however, it was the thunder that came on the route.

Nikola Jokić led Denver with 27 points and 13 rebounds. Christian Braun and Jamal Murray each had 17 points and Gordon scored 15th Michael Porter Jr. only scored three points after scoring 15 points on Friday. Wiggins and Wallace added 11 points each, and Alex Caruso and Jalen Williams each scored 10 points. Williams was 2 for 13 from the ground to 32 points in game 3.
