Dui driver arrested, pedestrian who was killed when crashed: Tampa Police

Tampa, FL – a woman who was accused of having driven under the influence was arrested after he had hit and killed a pedestrian early Sunday morning.

When the officers reacted to the crash at the intersection of Nebraska Avenue and E. Robson Street at around 4:20 a.m., they found a man on the street.

He was declared dead at the crime scene.

The 23 -year -old Armahnee Edwards drove north on the N. Nebraska Avenue when the man went on the way of her car.
According to investigators, she showed signs of impairments at the scene.

Edwards was taken into custody and charged with the influence of property damage or violations of the driving and a crime of driving, while the driver's license canceled, suspended or revoked (death or serious bodily harm).

The crash is examined.
