Brian Windhorst reveals the terrible update of Donovan Mitchell injury as status 5 in the air, “serious enough to …”

Brian Windhorst announced a Donovan Mitchell update in which Cavaliers fans are worried.

The Cleveland Cavaliers went 3-1 to the Indiana Pacers after a brutal game 4. It was a terrible performance of the cavaliers that the Pacers blown.

Donovan Mitchell had previously said in this series that he had to deal with injuries. But his 43-point performance in game 3 seemed to suppress these concerns.

After starting a 0-2 series, it seemed to be up to date for the Cavaliers. However, things came back to reality for the Cavaliers last night.

Donovan Mitchell suffered an ankle injury and left in the second half. According to Brian Windhorst, he has dealt with another injury problem since last year.

Windhorst: Donovan Mitchell's injury runs for more than a year

Brian Windhorst spoke about Sportscenter about Donovan Mitchell's most recent injury. Instead of concentrating on his ankle, Windhorst said a more worrying update.

The ESPN insider claimed that Donovan Mitchell had also dealt with a calf injury that has been annoying him since the playoffs of last year when the Cavaliers were removed.

“Donovan Mitchell has to do with a calf injury in this series. It wasn't serious enough to be in the injury report, but he definitely had to do with it and admitted that he went through something.”

“When you see that the video seems to pull something from him. The cavaliers say it is a left ankle. We will go with a left ankle.”

“We will know more after the MRI. Donovan had a veal injury in the playoffs last year last year, last year in the second round.

“There was a strong usage rate. In the end, he was missing a few games in the Celtics series, and the Cavs were removed.”

“Now it is about what its availability is because I cannot see that the CAVS win three consecutive games against a Pacers team that plays great without Donovan Mitchell being able to go.”

The cavaliers cannot celebrate a comeback without Spida

The Cleveland Cavaliers are not quite out of this series. Yes, being 3-1 is anything but ideal for the best team in Eastern Conference.

But if Donovan Mitchell's injury keeps him away for one or more games, you have no shot to complete a potential comeback.

Mitchell was brilliant in this series despite the losses and scored an average of 34.0 points per game, while he shot 45.0% from the field and 22.0%.

He had several 40-point services against the Pacers. And the cavaliers need a similar production from him if they have the chance to reach the Eastern Conference final.
