Investigation of several scenarios with Sixers, 2025 NBA Draft Lottery

It is probably not a debate that the Sixers, if you look at the best and worst results for each team in the lottery on Monday evening, are probably not released from a team of the team at the game.

When Philadelphia wins the first choice, there is a good argument that the Sixers can quickly turn things around and fight the next season and at the same time can be decent for life after Joel Embbiid. When the Sixers send their first round to Oklahoma City, the path to a quick solution becomes much more complicated. We have decided to achieve the results for Philadelphia on Monday evening and prepare our thoughts about what could happen with the rang below.

Tier 1: First overall selection

This is the Cooper Flagg Lottery. There are some designs in which there are no “not disapproved” or others in which good arguments can be carried out for a few different prospects. This is one in which practically the entire drama that affects the first selection will be due to the team and not what the team said.

In view of the injuries plagued by the injury, which we have just endured for Embiid and Paul George, it is a child's play for the Sixers to select flag when they win the lottery. In a perfect world, Embiid and George are healthier in 2025-26 and flag slots as the starting force of the team. Back with Tyrese Maxey and Jared McCain and Quentin Grimes, Philadelphia would look quite impressive with these six players at the top of the rotation. Perhaps it is even more important that Flagg should remain a less bleak transition from the Embbiid era if the health of Embbiid should not improve. The construction of the next generation of Sixers basketball in Flagg, Maxey and McCain seems to be a good starting point.

Tier two: second overall selection

It seems that Dylan Harper is the fairly clear second overall election in this year's design. The Rutgers product is a very dynamic offensive player, whose ability to shot and end capability seems to have separated it from the pack under the non-flag perspectives. Like Flagg, Harper also seems to fit the Sixers well, since the majority of the guards of Philadelphia is on the small side and Harper 6-foot-6 is, which gives the Sixers a better size on the deficit.

While Flag is the clear price of this year's lottery, I don't think there is many debates about what the team will do with the second overall selection. There are scenarios that can be discussed in which the Sixers keep the selection on Monday evening and then use them in retail to start their low season in order to return to the dispute as soon as possible. These scenarios start at 3.

Decision: Draft from Dylan Harper

Tier three: third, fourth and fifth overall picks

The third overall selection is where we start to see some deviations between the Mock fibers. CBS Sports let Tre Johnson finished third last week. Our editor Paul Hudrick was in Johnson's camp and Johnson seems to have offensive on his head. Baylors VJ Edgecompbe is invoiced as a polished two-way view, the sportiness of which could create a certain lock-perimeter defense on the opposite wing. Ace Bailey from Rutgers is the third and last player I put in this level. Bailey does not aggressively come as a finished product, but looks like a freak athlete that could immediately contribute to defense and on the glass.

Johnson seems to be the riser here, since Bailey and Edgecompbe were ridiculed in the top 4 throughout the season. Bailey is listed at 6-foot 10 and could therefore play a power forward in the NBA. With 6-foot-5, Johnson has one centimeter on Edgecompbe, which could make him a little more appealing in view of the lack of the deficiency in the lack of a lack of Phillys.

It is reasonable to receive offers for a selection in the third overall selection if you are the Sixers. If you are looking for a comparable scenario, the Lakers had a bad season in 2018-19, the first one in which LeBron James was on the squad, and had some lottery happiness to make the fourth overall selection in 2019. In view of the uncertainty about Embbiid and Georges Health, Morey and his employees should design the player from whom they believe that he has the highest long -term upward trend among the three accepted candidates.

Decision: Design by Tre Johnson, VJ Edgecomme or Ace Bailey

Tier four: sixth overall selection

It looks like this is the beginning of a new level in apparent designs, and so of course it begins with the last possible slot that the Sixers can design in this year's first round. ESPN recently made registers for each lottery team and emphasized the view that the team should select if it stays in front of the lottery in its position. Jonathan Givony assumed that the Top -Vier picks flag, Harper, Bailey and Edgecompe would be, and the Sixers, the Jeremiah's fears in Oklahoma in front of Tre Johnson. Givony noticed the light altitude advantage for Johnson as something that was good for his chances that could look good by Philadelphia, seemed to believe that the late season in the Seco and NCAA tournaments seemed to believe the Fears late season that would nod a little nod.

But the backup center has been a problem for the Sixers for a long time and Maluach would be an elite elite and could slowly be loosened behind Embiid. Ideally, Maluach, when Embiid's career ended, developed enough of an offensive game to be a high-end start center.

Nevertheless, I don't think this is the decision that Morey will make. Since he knew that he had to bring the team back into arguments next season, or he could be released, I think Morey selects a player that he knows that he plays a lot or deals with the selection, and I think a trade is firmly involved, when Philly lands the sixth choice, a pick -slot in which she has a 19.6% chance of the country.

Decision: Design by Khaman Maluach or Kon Knueppel

Tier five: Fail the choice to Oklahoma City

Are you half fat or half subjects? However, note that the Sixers still keep an unprotected first choice in the first round over the clipper, which looks like a valuable good. If this choice is not traded in this upcoming low season, a bad 2025-26 would ensure that Philadelphia would like to hold this choice.

This is about if the next 12 months for the Sixers in the past 12 months are to initiate a new era of Sixers basketball. It could still be difficult to withdraw from Embiid and George's contracts next year, but there will not be the same “Bounce Back” discourse that many fans now seem to have. While the outstanding debt in the first round of Brooklyn would complicate a reconstruction on the table, a lottery election in 2026 and the unprotected clipper in 2028 would be a good starting point. One would imagine if Morey and Nick Nurse let go, that a new regime would probably come and concentrate on sending out more players and adding more draft picks at this point.

But all of this is a discussion that will be submitted better for this time next year when things look really so bleak. It is far more ordinary that a top-SIX selection in this year's draft will probably help the Sixers for the next season and for the coming years. So yes, if the choice is sent to the thunder, it could be the beginning of another harsh low season that could be the forerunner of a larger renovation. While the wealth is not bald, it is by no means a good place where you can be.
