Girl, 7, flown from the frontal crash

Ionia County, a 7-year-old girl, was flown from a frontal accident on Sunday, May 11th, the Belding police said.

The police said it was brought to the Helen Devos Children's Hospital by the Aero Med helicopter with life -threatening injuries.

The crash occurred around 1:45 p.m. on M-44 near the Orchard Street in Beltding.

She was a passenger in a Cadillac-CTs to the east, which crossed the center line and fell headlessly into a Chevrolet Silverado, the police said.

The driver of the Cadillac, a 28-year-old Belding woman, was brought to the CoreWell Health Butterworth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Silverado driver, a 49-year-old Conclin man, was not injured, but his passenger, a 49-year-old woman Greenville, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash is examined.

The deputies of the sheriff of Ionia County supported the Belding police at the scene.
