Motorcyclists killed in the crash in Minnieville and Prince William Parkway

Woodbridge, va. – A motorcyclist was killed on Friday evening at a collision at the intersection of the Minnieville Road and the Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge.

According to the police department of Prince William County, the crash occurred on May 10 at 10:30 p.m. Investigators said that the driver of an Indian for 1200 motorcycle from 2019 drove to the east on the Minnieville Road when he ran a red light in Prince William Parkway. At the same time, a Kia Soul turned from 2019, which drove west, turned the Prince William Parkway to the left when the two vehicles collided.

The police say the impact threw the driver out of the motorcycle. He was declared dead at the crime scene. The driver of Kia Soul, a 61-year-old woman from Woodbridge, and her passenger were treated for minor injuries.

The motorcyclist was identified as 28-year-old Christian Alexis Zayas from Woodbridge.

The police asks everyone who has observed the crash to contact the department while the examination continues.
