The police identify cyclists who were killed in the crash

Oceana County, Mi – the deputies of the sheriff identified Aaron Andreas, 57, from Hesperia as the cyclist who was hit by a pickup and was killed on Friday, May 9th.

The crash occurred around 9:40 p.m. in the East M-20 near South 176th Avenue in the Newfield Township by Oceana County.

The driver of a Chevrolet pickup told the police that he had stopped to ask after he held a deer in the dark. During the inspection, he found the driver and his bike along the street, said the MPs of Oceana County's sheriff.

He went to a nearby residence and had it called 911.

First aiders found the cyclist in a ditch and attempted life -saving measures, but were unsuccessful.

The driver of the pickup is a 42-year-old Hesperia man.

The police said that alcohol, drugs and speed are not involved in the crash that will continue to be examined.
