The number of fatalities in a multi -vehicle accident with a semi truck in Tennessee on Sunday evening is still unclear.

The accident occurred on Sunday, May 11th, shortly before 4:30 p.m. in Hamilton County, Tennessee.

According to News Channel 9, the crash on Interstate 75 towards the north occurred near the Tennessee Welcome Center in the Mile Marker 0.8. The crash included a semi truck and six other vehicles. Two cars caught fire after the wreck, and firefighters have reportedly prioritized the rescue of the people captured inside.

Several people were seriously injured, including a minor. The authorities have confirmed “multiple cases”, but have not published any further details on the death of death in the chain reaction crash.
