What we know:

According to Gwinnett Daily Post, the scholarship was set up by Derek Tiller and his wife Sarah.

Tiller, a former football coach of the Gwinnett County High School, was a close friend of Aspinwall. The scholarship fund was founded at Wfford College, where Tiller once played football.

The scholarship is specially intended for a high-ranking offensive offensive lineman who wants to play football in Wfford, and offers support for pupils who embody the aspin wall into play.

The background story:

Four people – two students and two teachers – were killed last September at the Apalachee High School in Barrow County. The accused murderer was a 14-year-old student, Colt Gray. He was arrested after the shootout. His father, Colin Gray, was also arrested
