Nurse charged after the death of a man on the Berkshire Police Station | England

After the death of a man, a nurse was charged on a British police station due to a man's homicide.

The 38 -year -old William Cameron died on January 8, 2020, after being custody in the Loddon Valley police station near Reading in Berkshire.

On Monday, the Crown Prosecutor's Service confirmed that a medical specialist, who was named as Sean Cegg, was charged after checking the evidence of the police guard Theopc.

A police server was examined after Cameron's death, but will not be charged for.

Malcolm McAffie, head of the CPS special crime -crime department, said after a review of the evidence from the IOPC, and after the death of William Cameron, 38, we approved a review of the IOPC evidence in 2020.

“Sean Cegg, 35, a nurse who was employed by Mountain Healthcare at the time, was charged with a manslaughter of gross negligence and a crime in accordance with Section 7 of Health and Security at work, etc. Law of 1974.

“No other people were charged with this case.”

The guard dog transferred the case to the CPS for a load decision in 2021.

Cameron's sister, Patricia Cameron, who is supported by the charity examination, helps families to trace through state deaths, said: “William was a friendly, loving and protective brother. He was one of one million.

“It was five and a half years since William died, and I have been completely invested in order to finally get some answers to questions that I have died since William.”

CREGG is expected to appear on July 1st in front of the Westminster Magistrate Court.
