Donovan Mitchell was subjected to an MRI in which a reacraved ankle injury was diagnosed

Nothing is going right for the Cleveland Cavaliers at the moment. They play terrible, they are injured and things soon don't seem to get better.

On Monday afternoon, Shams Charania von Espn reported that Mitchell's MRI had shown a “reaction of an ankle injury”. He is expected to be a game for game 5 in Cleveland on Tuesday.

The Cavs season is on the line on Tuesday because they face a 3-1 hole. Mitchell will probably do everything he can do. Yesterday he told the reporters that “he is good” for Tuesday. We will see if his ankle allowed him. Mitchell also played a calf pollution that opened at the end of game 2.

It is difficult to return from a 3: 1 deficit. It would be a big order, even if the cavs were 100% healthy. Since they are beaten as they are, the series result seems to have already been decided.

It is a shame that Mitchell's series is hindered by this injury. He played the best basketball of his career and was the top playoff actor in this post -season. Cavs fell apart had nothing to do with Mitchell.

All three best players from Cleveland will be less than very healthy if they are able to play in game 5. Darius Garland looked better in game 4, but the mobility in defense is not there. Evan Mobley has looked in order since his return from his ankle injury. Nevertheless, his screen navigation seemed to point out yesterday that he did not have the same movement from side to side that he normally does.

Game 5 is Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Cleveland.
