The announcement was made during NBC's presentation in New York.

“I am so excited to see the NBA back on NBC,” he said in a press release. “The NBA on NBC was a sensible part of my career, and I look forward to being a special contribution to the project. I look forward to seeing them all when the NBA starts on NBC this October.”

Jordan has not been involved for almost two years after selling his participation in the Charlotte Hornets for more than 3 billion US dollars in August 2023. He faced his attention on 23xi races and the pursuit of a Nascar championship.

“Michael's legacy speaks for and outside the square,” said Rick Cordella, President of the NBC sports. “We are incredibly proud that he joins our reporting.”

Jordan is considered the greatest NBA player ever. During his NBA final, he became undefeated, has five NBA MVP awards and was a 14-fold all-star. He played a large part of his career at the bulls before handling the Washington Wizards.
