Highland Haven Resident killed in the event of a boat accident

A resident of Highland Haven was killed on May 10 in a boat accident on the Lake LBJ.

According to Tim Campbell, fire chief of Granite Shoals, the first aiders were called to the scene at around 5 p.m. The incident occurred while the boat was docked in a small bay. The victim was killed by a blunt force trauma after falling into the water. They were declared dead at the crime scene.

“They dock (the boat) and it was a complete accident,” Campbell told Dailytrib.com.

He continued to explain that due to the accidental nature of the incident, no charges had been raised.

Granite Shoals Fire Rescue, Marble Falls Area Ems, Lower Colorado River Authority Rangers, Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Warders and Sheriff's MP from Burnet County were one of the first aiders on site.

The victim's names and details of the accident were deliberately left out in this report.
