Where to stream events live

The 78th Film Festival Cannes – where Tom Cruise's Mission: impossible – the last billing will make his world premiere – starts in Cannes in southern France this week. However, you don't have to be there to take on the events of the prestigious annual event.

The 2025 film festival in Cannes begins on Tuesday evening and runs until May 24th. The official list for this year's celebrations was presented on April 10th.

The opening ceremony of Cannes and other events, including premiering of the red carpet, photocal and press conferences, will stream live on the website of the Film Festival in Cannes and on the YouTube channel from Cannes and on X and Instagram accounts.

The Oscar winner Juliette Binoche, who comes from France, is President of the jury of the 2025 Film Festival, which also includes Hollywood stars Halle Berry and Jeremy Strong.

Other members of the jury in Cannes are the Indian filmmakers Payal Kapadia, the Italian actor Alba Rohrwacher, the French author Leïla Slimani, the Congolese director and documentary filmmaker Dieudo Hamadi, the Korean filmmaker Hong Sangsoo and the Mexican filmmaker Carlos Reygadas.
